Town name ideas?

I've been thinking to have my next town name Shiokara, based off of the Japanese name for the song Calamari Inkantation from Splatoon. I'm not sure if i definitely want this town name though, since town names always give me trouble. I want my town to be Japanese themed with bits and pieces of a Nintendo theme.

Honestly, I suck with town names.
Since your town is gonna be Japanese themed, and I don't really know anything Japanese related; maybe you can translate a cute English word into Japanese?
As an example: translate wonder into Japanese and it would be Wandā. < That's what I mean.
