Town hall renovations: Changing back?

I know you can use a new project to revert back to the original town hall, but my question is, do you get to pick what colour the new original design will be? Can someone test this for me?

I tried finding answers online but couldn't really find anything conclusive on the subject.

There was one place that said you could, but I would like to be sure before I dump that much bells into a project, haha.

I don't think so. I think it'll go back to the same one.

You can via hacking, so that's probably what it was when you saw it is possible, because technically it is.

But otherwise, to go back to your town hall would be the same one you started with, you can't change the colour of it
