Town Flower Question?

So I have just started to breed flowers for hybrids. I am particularly interested in getting loads of black roses so I can turn them into gold. I should have done this first but I didn't so now I have hundreds of flowers in my town, not so many black.

If I created all the black roses I wanted and then turned my beautiful town ordinance off so all the flowers in my town wilted. If I watered all the black roses and then turned the beautiful town ordinance back on, would the rest of my flowers be ok or is there no hope getting them back?

I hope I'm making sense!

Well, you'd have to turn off the ordnance, but make sure to water every flower that isn't a black rose otherwise It will die. Your other flowers will be fine so long as you water them until the ordnance is back
