Hey everyone! I was wondering if someone wants to help me with some design help of my town. I started this game before realizing the importance of a good map layout and plot resetting so the town is kinda mess. I was wondering if someone wanted my dream code for my town and help give suggestions. ; w ; that would be super thankful. I havent had the game for long and I dont get a lot of bells all thw time so not everything is upgraded and stuff. Thanks for help my dream code is 4600-5411-1000l

I don't have time to nip on your dream address right now, but the first thing I try to do when starting a new town is decide what kind of theme I want, or if there's a certain look I'm going for, etc. Do you have anything like that in mind?

I am keeeping it more neutral and modern. I had been nervous to restart EVERYTHING. My town is very messed up. I have a normal brick path and red, pink, white roses and tulips. I have only a bench, water fountain. ;w; I dont have any friends to transfer anything and I am very attached to my villagers.

make a list of your villagers you'd like back, and i can let you know every time i get one in my cycle town!
you can always get villager back! but if you're unhappy with your town, theres no reason not to go ahead and start new!

once i get pirtro set in a good plot, i'll come check out your dream town!

I only have to dreamies which is Scoot and Muffy. Molly, Lucky, Teddy, Chow, are my villagers I would want back. I also have bells. And just sone basic furniture. Probably flowers.

here goes:

right off the bat, i gotta say i do not like the space between villager homes.
in my town not everyone is right by each other- but there's a flow to it. at least to me there is.
your town is pretty with flowers and such, but the villager houses are too spread out / random for my taste.

your map layout isn't half bad, you've got big chunks of space available to you, which i find useful and a really good thing to have in a town. but the congestion of your random villager houses + the campsite + the cafe + your player house kinda feels messy to me. the town hall up by the train station isn't ideal in my opinion, but re-tail is relatively close which is pretty nice : )

the bridge placements seem a little weird to me,
especially since there are only two right now, and they're placed in interesting spots.

there is also two villager, chow & diva, who's houses aren't included in the pathways. ( idk if thats intentional or not)
but they seem misplaced and out of the way of things.

overall your town is really cute, i love the flower patterns and how you used them to take up various amounts of space.
this is simply my opinion on the matter and i don't mean anything rudely- just voicing my ideas.

if you want to keep the town:
+i'd say re-do all the villager housings.
maybe get all 10 villagers on the bottom half of the map, and use the top for building and pwps and such.
+ re-do pathways to a move flowing nature.
+ add pwps and variations to trees and flowers.
+ add in a third bridge, and space all 3 out evenly.

if you want to make a new map:
+ watch out for locations of the town hall / retail.
( these are usually how i base my town's path ideas )
+ decide how you want to layout everything, spaced? close? sections? crazy map? simple map? etc.

i hope this helped a little? maybe.
once again none of this needs to be taken into consideration because ultimately it's YOUR town.
this is simply just my lousy opinion on the matter : )

thanks again for letting me visit and tell you my ideas for it. i hope you figure out what you'd like to do~

i'd also recommend checking out dream towns to get ideas!
if you wanan see the chaos of my town, my DA is in my signature.

Ah thank you so much! Diva and Chow moved in recently for me to include a path there cause it is very tightly packed. I feel so much is cut off and it is clustered especailly Biff played his house so close to Henry's and another path. Don't worry. You're fine on your opinion. I still debate on restarting.
