Hey, guys!

So, I did it. I gave into the sale and bought the digital copy of AC. q:
I've always wanted a separate cycle/themed dream town, so it was the perfect opportunity to finally purchase it. I'm excited!

After thinking long and hard, I've decided I want to make my new town themed after the It's a Small World attraction at the Disney Parks! My plan is to create four themed areas using various landmark PWPs and possibly landscaping with pastel colors (and hopefully gold roses). Each house will represent a "scene" from the attraction, or a continent in other words. Each room will be themed (and brightly colored) after each country/nation. I'll be creating characters + houses that represent Europe, Asia, Latin America + Africa, and the South Pacific. I might place cameos of Disney characters similar to the DL version (I don't want my characters Disney, though). The mayor will represent Europe.

As far as the town name goes, I was thinking I'd like to use the word "dream" or something related in a different language. R?ver/R?ve/R?verie (which would be correct?) and Aisling are names I like. Thoughts and/or ideas? (:

Now, here's where I'm in a pickle. How do you come up with a single character name that represents an entire continent? LOL! I'm at a loss. No inspiration whatsoever. The names don't have to directly relate to the continents/countries as long as it relates to the general attraction/world theme. The mayor's name is obviously top priority.

I'd like to start my town around the 5th, so I'm desperate for ideas. I need all the help I can get!
Thank you!

You could try different names of the continents in different languages.
For example, Europa is Europe in German and Yoroppa in Japanese, using Google translate.
You could make a play on these words until they sound like names.
Eura for a girl and Europ for a boy mayor.
Or using the Japanese, Yora for a girl and Yoropp for a boy?
Sometimes adding in vowels and certain endings such as 'ia' and 'en' can make a word feel more like a name.
Try using the different names of the continents in different languages until you find words that you like.
If all else fails there is Greek and Roman Mythology which are pretty good for exotic names.

You could go with famous/well known people from the said country. Ie: Schwarz (Arnold Schwarzenegger, from Austria), cleo (cleopatra from Egypt), something like that. :) best of luck!!!
