Now onto the rules:
First and most important rule: YOU MUST WONDER TRADE YOUR POKEMON! This means you are not allowed to use Pokemon you already have. Battle codes will be reviewed and any suspicious activity will be investigated. If you are questioned about your team's legitimacy and you refuse to show proof or trade out Pokemon when asked... you will be disqualified. Three disqualifications will result in a permanent ban from wTw.
>For every won match you will gain a point. The three highest scores at the end of the day (for me P: ) will win the associated prizes.
>Teams must include 6 Pokemon.
>2v2 is allowed; each player from a winning team will receive a point each. 2v2 will require you to pick 3 pokemon from yer 6. (Same for yer team mate) if you need help setting this option just ask.
>single and double battles are the only options allowed.
>No repeating species of Pokemon. (i.e. cannot have two pikachu's in a team; if Wonder Trade sends you the same Pokemon, then you must pick one to trade out.)
>Only one Pokemon per evolution chain. (i.e. you can't have a squirtle and a blastoise on the same team.)
>Items are not allowed on the Pokemon. You are not allowed to add items to the Pokemon! If a player sees equipped items, be sure to let me know. You will be asked to remove them.
>Be sure to check your Pokemon's movesets before locking in your team. Make sure your Pokemon can attack. Although Magikarp splashing another Magikarp would be hilarious... no one wants to sit through that.
>After you trade for your six Pokemon, you must PM me a picture of your starting team. DO NOT post it to the thread. Allow your team to be revealed in battle. If your team looks too suspicious you will be asked to trade out Pokemon. Refusal to do so will result in your forfeiting your tbt and disqualification from the week's brawl.
>After each battle, you are allowed to pick one Pokemon from your team to trade back into Wonder Trade.
>In order for a battle to count for points, a Battle Code must be posted to this thread for review. Points will only be rewarded once a Battle Video has been confirmed.
>Feel free to rematch people as many times as you want.
>Do not rage quit a match. If I hear complaints about someone doing this... I mean come on, just don't. It'll be obvious what's gunna happen to you. Internet errors are legit, but if they happen too often... you will forfeit your tbt and be disqualified. Always let me know the FIRST time an internet error occurs so we can work something out. If your internet just won't allow you to participate, I will refund your tbt.
>Remember that Wonder Trade Battling can be very difficult. More than likely, you WILL get weak Pokemon (I mean that's the fun) But before you get upset with someone, remember that this is a good way to learn about competitive battling and that your chances of winning a match depends on your knowledge of how to handle any battle scenario. After each battle it is important to congratulate each other. I will take points from people who do not follow this rule consistently! (its okay to forget, but it's another thing to ignore it) Remember that your chances of winning are not always equal from one match to the next. Do not let this discourage you from trying.
In order to receive points from a match, you must upload the Battle Video to the internet and then post the Battle Code to this thread. If you are unsure how to do this watch the video below:
Note: Don't forget to say "yes" after each battle when asked to save the video.
If you have any questions before the
next Wednesday feel free to ask!
This thread will be edited as the week progresses...
Thanks for the consideration!

Welcome to wTw!! This is a weekly tournament for any Pokemon fans looking have some quirky fun. The basics are simple: trade six Pokemon to Wonder Trade and battle other players with what you get. The more battles you win the higher chances you have to win from the Prize Pool. The more members involved the higher the prizes!
Next Wonder Trade Wednesday Event TBA!
Prizes will be distributed to the winners of each brawl before Friday. (Codes will be reviewed to guarantee the winners.) Only members who pay the entrance fee can play to win tbt, but feel free to battle other members causally. The consistency of this thread will depend on everyone's sportsmanship. I will add 100tbt to the Prize Pool the first day of wTw.
Hopefully this weekly(TBA) event will bring new fun and experiences. So let's get an overview of how Wonder Trade Battling works:
