Ok I was on youtube and I found this video telling people to go on to an animal crossing City Folk website and tell people to donate money for the noobs of the game. Should I try this or do you think this was a scam?

I've seen stuff like this before. Just forget about it and play the game. Noobs can make their own money.

This definitely smells like a scam, at least it does if they're asking you to donate to it -.- How do you know they won't just run away with the money?

Don't spam...it ultimately degrades the look of the community.

Anyways, if you're planning on producing any type of 'Foundation' then I recommend you take the money out of your pockets first. Then, propose the idea, let it run for a while. Make sure everything runs smoothly and that you get less scammers/noobs and more legitimate people. For example, my Lending Tree Service (unfortunately, it went down because no one was interested =P), I opened the business with 250,000 Bells from my own pocket. Personally, I didn't care if I was scammed, I just wanted to be able to offer a service to help out newbies or people who needed a temporary source of Bells. Think of it as another thing to make the game more fun for people =P (Having the responsibilities of paying loans and such). Unfortunately, no one was interested in the service which led to the topic dying within the Auction House Section.

You need to spend a lot of time into planning a business or 'foundation' if you want the respect of the more legitimate members.
