Is Tortimer Island exclusive for the Mayor only? I can't seem to find the boat on my Japan version, or even my NA version... Also, the way Tortimer explained the island he made it sound like a get-a-way for the mayor

I under stand non-mayor characters can visit the island through a friend, but that's it.

Well, I'm speaking of just the island. Not Club-Tortimer. Sorry for the confusion.

The answer is still no, it's not mayor-only. All characters can visit the island whether they are the mayor or not.

Can anyone please tell me how many days is the least amount of days to unlock the tropical Island?
What I mean is, if I paid off my down payment today and pay off my initial mortgage tomorrow.

When should I get the Island unlocked? Should it be by Tuesday or Wednesday next week?
