Tortimer island

I noticed that 2 different towns (with the same date and time) both had the same island games happening. Are they set per each day, meaning that if I return next Thursday the same list of games as today will be hosted?

Is the Tortimer club even worth going to? No one is ever there, and when someone actually does come they never join the games.

It depends on your point of view. I've seen people there who tried to trap me on the island or wipe out my basket by flicking the WiFi switch. But the items are special. If you are a collector, only Tortimer Members get certain items. Look it up on Thonky...I'm pretty sure that site has a comprehensive list. I recall there are special Cabana items and suits, and maybe more. So for collectors it is probably a must.

When I go to the island all they ever do is want to play games ;A; Usually when I'm just island hunting for rares too!

there's rarely anyone there when i go if they're there they pretty much leave instantly.. i think the majority are just checking for rare items
