Marshal really does look like a jerk though.
I don't get why people love him so much.

People have their different opinions. After all, looks aren't everything! I just love Marshal because I always found squirrels to be cute, and his name makes me think of marshmallows. And I love marshmallows. ; u ; So I don't just like him because he's "popular".

I have always found Barold weird-looking, but after having him in one of my towns, he's actually really nice and cute ; u ; So that kinda proves my point.
Still, no matter what, I'll probably still judge characters by the way the look on Animal Crossing. It doesn't mean that I won't/will like them forever, but I can't really help it
