It would be impossible for me to put my favorite games in a particular order, since it is constantly changing, depending on what I'm currently preoccupied or "obsessed" with (whether it is for the first time playing it or if I'm replaying it). Anyways, my top nine favorite games are (I can't think of a tenth one right now; it's late):
- Dragon Age: Origins
- Dragon Age: Inquisition
- Shadow Hearts
- Shadow Hearts: Covenant
- Final Fantasy X
- Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
- Assassin's Creed ~ I loved Altair's character a lot and wished there were more games just about him like there had been for Ezio; I do like Ezio, but Altair is my favorite.
- Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
- Final Fantasy VIII
I want to put
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots on the list since I thought its story was just as intriguing, if not more so than
Metal Gear Solid 3's story; however, I didn't like some of the features, gameplay or controls (I'm not sure which of those it was since it has been a year since I last played it).
I am debating whether I consider
Spec Ops: the Line a favorite or not; I only played it once and it was right before or shortly after
Dragon Age: Inquisition was released. I certainly liked the story a lot and I thought it was a very unique game--it's really complicated and difficult for me to explain my personal reasons; this was the first shooter game that I ever played. I thought a lot of the imagery was chilling. Then, the choices you had to make and the whole situation messed with my conscious completely. While it's difficult to say the game was "fun" (I know that sounds weird; it's hard to explain why I'd say something like that yet consider the game to be a favorite), I thought it was worth playing and had a really great plot.
My list might be a little inaccurate; it has been a long time since I last thought about what my favorite games were.
