Toontown Rewritten is basically a community server for Disney's now-closed online game, Toontown Online. It works the exact same way, except, it's not out yet. The release date is still unknown but they are working on it. They are currently in beta.

YAAAAAAAAS I WAS WAITING 4 U TO MAKE THIS

Toontown was cool, a couple friends of mine used to play it ages ago. I think I was on it for longest but it basically got the point where I just wasn't playing so we cancelled my subscription. I was going to play it in the last few moments before it got shut down but I didn't LOL oops. This seems like a great way to bring it back and to add in fan-wanted content! (Also it's free so.. lolol YES)

Gosh, I used to play TT when I was around 6 up to 10 years old. Kinda stopped playing when my membership got canceled though, since the non-member weapons were all pretty lame. I didn't even know it got shut down.

I'll be looking forward to the release (Or BT, if I manage to get a key somehow).

I was about to make a thread on this, until I saw it . I'm glad this has been made. The semi-open beta has been pretty buggy, but nonetheless they're working on it. I played Toontown since 2003 and I met my friend of over 10 years on that game. I loved the Disney aspect of the game too ;w; Its such a unique game. You can do minigames, there's teamwork, its less grindy, you can decorate your estate and have a doodle pet, race and golf. It's got a dash of everything. I can't wait until its open. I love the custom features and content they've added to TTR as well, I was blown away!
