It's now Day 3 and Nook is still only selling a fishing pole, watering can and net. What's a girl gotta do to get a dang shovel around here? This is really putting a damper on my playing experience because I have some cherries from another town I need to plant, not to mention fossils to find (and 2 villagers asking for fossils).

Ok...whew, I just needed to complain-this happen to anyone else?

I haven't seen a slingshot yet, its really irritating me, even in other people's shops, nobody has a slingshot.

I did end up getting a shovel, I can understand your pain though. But just imagine all the fossils you'll be able to dig up when you finally get one. Hahah.

Been to 7 different towns over the course of 3 days.

No slingshots. No axes. No one.

I doubt its a glitch, perhaps they made them similar to the timer in WW, as in Nook wont carry it untill he expands.

It's possible that they anticipated certain things (Nintendo), and made these objects appear only after a set number of days. Or just random. I saw SOMEONE with an axe.

What are Timers in this game, or are they just what the name is timers? Like they tell time or you can set a time for it to go off?
