imo you should have flipped the switch..its pretty obvious to do so when someone comes uninvited. or you could at least delete the random friend codes from the forums to prevent it. his tbt name is goodland man or something like that, but i flipped the switch on him before he even got the chance to run around

omg! I thought that name and town sounded familiar! I think I've met this guy before, I think maybe on club tortimer. He was either the guy who tried to blackmail me on club tortimer (I just flipped the wifi lolololol) OR this one time I was doing a major trade (i'm talking millions) at someone elses town. all the money was on the floor. this person arrived, said something random then just left. given that they left immediately having done nothing we just carried on and didn't question anything. Now im creeped out 0_o.

So let me get this straight..
You saw a shady stranger join your town uninvited, who ran straight into your town right when he joined, but decided "eh, he looks trustworthy." After that, you proceeded to leave your DS unattended, leaving him free to steal, destroy, or do otherwise without attendance or supervision?
In my opinion, he is a jerk, but dang. You're at fault as much as he is. I probably sound like a huge jerk right now, but seriously? That's like leaving a bag of jewelry unattended in a crowded shopping center, and expecting nobody to steal it while you leave it unattended.
I didnt read the prevous 12 pages of comments, solely because I don't have the time nor interest, so forgive me if I don't have all the information, but from your original post I can conclude that you kind of set yourself up for this.
I wish you the best of luck with your future encounters, as well as recovering from the theft, but I also hope that you learned that this is not a good idea under any circumstances.

God, this thread is cringeworthy. And you people really have no idea how hacking works. You can't "hack" into somebody else's town, no matter how hard you try. It ain't gonna happen. 2nd, GUESS WHAT? CASE SOLVED! I've had this happen to me before in city folk. Sometimes I'd have a negative time w/ someone over wi-fi, so I'd delete them, but wait, then they'd come back into my town and I'd be like OMG HOW?!?!?!? HAX?!?!?! because I was a stupid noob.
Tl;dr as long as you've had each other added at some point in time, you can still go over to their town/ vice versa
