Today marks the day I begin leash training my cat

We never did that with Chester. He was an indoor cat anyways. R.I.P. buddy...

As for Misty, we've had her for 7 years and she still thinks she can do wherever she wants on the leash. :p I don't think that equates to the way cats would behave, so I can't help you, but good luck!

My cat is a baby Maine coon, who will sit at doors and whine for 24 hours until someone tries to walk in or out and then try and make a break for it. I'd rather him be leash trained so I can get it out of his system and he can go back to being a lap cat. As it is he's getting a little tubby, so I need to run him.

Most places don't recommend leash training your pet, but... if I have the proper harness (which I'm getting tomorrow) and lead, he should be alright. It never hurt to get fresh air.

I used to have a harness trained cat....all I can say it "May the odds be ever in your favor." Actually its not too bad, its like training a dog, except with a stubborn cat who likes to do what he pleases.

my friend leash trained her cat (actually i dont think it even needed training, he just went with it).
Never had a cat though, would love one.
Enjoy training yo kitty :3
