Today is the 25th anniversary of the original Super Mario Bros.

Yep, it's been 25 years. There was a huge celebration at the Nintendo World in NY and I went! Miyamoto was there, but not for very long. So many people were dressed up and they even had a mario cake! I'll post pics later.

As Bacon Boy said, it stands for Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. I suppose it's typically called just Yoshi's Island, though. It had baby Mario riding on Yoshi's back and some great music.
