Today I learned that the Horshoe crab displays without a tank!

It sits out in the open and moves much like the turtles do. It also flips on its back and wiggles about when you try touching it! So far turtles and the horseshoe crabs display this way. Any other fun displays I need to know about!?

It's not available until March iirc, but the Spider Crab is absolutely massive (also terrifying) and displays without a tank. I have one in my house I keep as my pet.

I know, they're so neat! I set up a tiny "conservation area" on one of my rocky sections (a pair of horseshoe crabs and some kelp surrounded by rope fences) I love how spider crabs look when displayed, too, but I'm not sure where to put one

I'm still trying to catch my first Isopod for Blathers but I for sure will need two because I'll probably want one as a pet LOL my girlfriend loves them!!

that’s so cute! The only weird display I can think of off the top of my head is the sunfish, but that’s just because he lays on his side and that’s more silly than interesting

I pretty much had a heart attack when I went to see how the spider crab looks when you display them. I was like oh wow a new catch I wanna see how it looks before I give it to Blathers
