To Keep or Not To Keep

The tragic story for whether or not I want to keep Goldie.
She's not a dreamie of mine, but I really do enjoy having her and she's so darn cute! I love Normal Types (second only to Uchis), but if I know she's someone else's dreamie I would rather them have her.

I have definitely enjoyed having her and it makes me sad to think of her leaving but it's not like I'm totally in LOVE with her. I'm a little torn as to whether or not I want to keep her.

This was more of me to clear my head about it, more than anything, haha...

I'd keep her for a little while longer and think about it. I don't think it being someone else's dreamie should be super important to your choice, just whether you would really miss her and whether you want her in your town or not. It might help you decide by thinking of who you might replace her with and whether there's someone you like less in your town that you can let go instead or not… etc.

I kinda miss Shep. I let him go to get Julian (who was a dreamie) and while I like Julian, I almost wish I'd kept Shep, too. But there wasn't anyone else I could let go… so that was my choice.

If she isn't one of your dreamies, it might be best to let her go. There's people out there who do have her as a dreamie, and I'm sure she'd go to a good home ^-^ Also, you'd have an extra space for one of your dreamies <3

Great advice.. I think for now, I'll keep her until she decides to move (again for the 4th time...) then I'll see where to go from there!

I think most people care only about the list of "dreamies" they assembled before they got the game and ignore all the other villagers. In my opinion, you shouldn't play the game that way. You should keep whoever you like that moves into your town or whatever. Don't let the list of popular villagers or dreamies dictate what you do.

Well, if that were the case I'd probably have let her go regardless if anyone wanted her not. Not because I don't love her but because her house is in a terrible spot.
I think the list of popular villagers is more dictated by what people want, not the other way around tbh! I'm sure there's some people who do let it influence them, but I don't think it's most people. ^^

Why don't you let her be until she wants to move out herself?
It sounds like you're really attached to her though, in your shoes I would probably keep her...
But that's just me, I get really attached.

You may end up having another random normal move into your town that you end up liking more.

Lolly is pretty popular and she was one of my starters... She isn't my dreamie, but she kept me happy so I wanted to keep her awhile. Now that Flurry has moved in ((right in front of Lolly actually!)) I find that I like Flurry much more... so now I am ready to let Lolly go when she is ready so someone else who really wants her will be able to get her. <3

I think you should keep Goldie for a bit longer. She's very cute and it seems like you are very attached to her. You could regret letting her go later on, so I say keep her for a bit.
