My game cartridge popped out somewhere and I lost it. I had to buy a new game and start over. I had 10 villagers, but a couple came from streetpassing and I ended up without a uchi. I wanted a uchi for the pwps. I finally moved one of my villagers out and kept my fingers crossed as I checked my campsite for many days. With no luck at getting a uchi in sight, I started resetting the campsite. I have gone through 50 villagers or so and no uchi. Today, I see Marcie is there. I always wanted a kangaroo and Marci in particular. Now I don’t know whether to reset or save and accept her.

I had all my original villagers in my old town and found it really hard to move one out to make room this time. I suppose I could move another out to make room for a uchi, but it would be tough. I don’t even know who I would move out now for a uchi. On the other hand, Marcie is a dreamie.

So far, I have Freya, Pietro, Peanut, Penelope, Fauna, Hugh, Elmer, Rowan and Gaston. I guess if I want all the personalities to get all the pwp, Hugh or Elmer would have to go as they are both lazy. Fauna, like Marcie, is normal but I adores Fauna, so she will stay. Peanut and Penelope are both peppy. I like Peanut and Penelope is adorably cute. So, that brings me back to Hugh and Elmer...

I am just not sure what to do here.

Perhaps you could have someone babysitt Marcie? And get a random uchi, when you have gotten the PWP's you want you can make the uchi move out and adopt Marcie from the babysitter?

I say get her if she's your dreamie and hold off on the Uchi PWP plans. Marcie is tough to get elsewhere, since autovoids and most people don't bother with giving them away because they figure it's a waste of time. However, PWPs can wait a bit, this may take a much longer time to get. So, go for it.

I did not know she was harder to get due to autovoid. That's good information as I don't follow the villager trading boards. I just go with whoever shows up in my village. In my first village (the one that was lost) I had no idea how many villagers there were in total, nor that you could chose and trade. So I just got used to liking who I had. Almost one yesr later, I still had all my original villagers. Tier level was not an issue for me. Lionel is Tier 5 and not particularly popular but he was my bestie. He plopped his house down so close to mine that I had to make a combined garden for us. I did not know there were options for that, too. He pounced on me with some request each day the minute I walked out my door. Every time, he made me laugh. I miss him. It was bittersweet when he turned up in my new campsite especially because there were no spaces available. But I think he is maybe best left as a happy memory in my old town. It has been pretty much the same in this town. My smug character this time is Pietro. I would not have picked him if I was choosing, but have come to adore him, too, and would never want him to leave. I am happy to give whoever shows up a chance. However, once I saw a kangaroo with a joey in their pouch, I was hooked on that idea. I liked Astrid but my best friend has Astrid and I visit her all the time. So I figured a pink kangaroo like Marcie would be great as she would go well with the rest of my pink girls (Peanut, Freya, and Penelope - well Penelope's ears are pink.) I thought if Marcie ever showed up I would jump at the chance to have here. Now, here she is.

I have plenty of other landscaping thing to work on without uchi pwp's.

So, I took your advice and asked Marcie to stay. She was tough to convince. I had to try several times. In between, I played games with her and wound up with 10 more items that I did not have yet in my new town. Cool! Now, she has agreed to stay. I am glad I asked her. She's sweet and the matching expression of the face of her little joey is too cute. I am looking forward to having her move in.
