Orange (Fruit)
Hello I am new to this game and I was wonder if there's anything I should know. Thanks in advance

Go to other peoples towns and take their fruit that's different from yours. Go back to your town and plant a bunch of trees with the fruit and then pick it, and sell it for a good profit! :D

with permission of course lol. also go to the island that's a good place to get bells especially at night

You'll have a fruit tree of your native fruit that has a fruit that looks a bit different, it's "Perfect fruit". Don't sell it, don't, bury it and grow a Perfect Fruit tree. They sell for 600 bells each in your town, and 3,000 each in other peoples towns. They look like this:

There's a lot of stuff you need to know about Animal Crossing, loads of tips and tricks ;w;

- If you really like a villager in your town, don't let them slip away!
Villagers can move out of your town and they'll never come back! It's good to maintain a nice friendship with them by sending them letters, gifting them, doing errands for them and going over to their house every once and a while. If you like a villager, simply: talk to them!! A lot!! They may mention they feel like it's right to move away, but tell them no, I don't want you to move by checking up on them regularly :3

- Plant loads of trees and flowers!
After a lot of time playing ACNL you'll get more different types of fruits which differ from your native fruit. It's good to plant different fruit trees once you obtain them. Just stick 'em in the ground. ALSO DON'T EAT THE GOLDEN-COLOURED NATIVE FRUIT
Take it, bury it in the ground, and continue to grow more of them, they are EXTREMELY rare. They sell for a lot as well in the re-tail.

This comes in handy later on as an aim of yours could be to achieve the "perfect town" rating which you can find out about how to get through talking to isabelle and asking "citizen satisfaction".

- Pay of your first loan!
It's not a huge amount of bells, i'm sure you could do it if you put some effort in selling fruits, fish that you can catch and perhaps even bugs or furniture you don't want/need.

- The best way to get bells!
Bells are literally the main focus of the game, the BEST way to get bells in ACNL is going to the un-lockable island. To get the island, first, pay off your first loan, second, talk to tortimer, on your dock located on one of your beaches. He should be able to unlock the island for you. Once you get to the island, go outside and borrow the fishing rod and net from the little moving guy next to the outside entrance. Catch as many bugs and fish as you can and then put them in the basket from inside to take home. Fill your inventory 3 times with different species and it should fill up your entire basket. Different species have a higher selling price than others. Such as agrias and birdwinged butterflies, which racks up a ton of bells INSTANTLY Go back to your town after, sell all your species to re-tail (and maybe think about donating new species to the museum as well.) and it should get you loads of bells FAST.

Another really quick way is money rocks. everyday a different rock in your town has bells inside it. Equip your shovel, hit some rocks and you get bells. Loads of them. Its good to dig 1-2 holes behind you as you hit the money rock, so you don't retaliate backwards and miss out on the rest of the bells.

Hope it helped ^o^/ Good luck on ACNL and welcome ^w^

1. Buy all the items from your stores. Later on you'll get a store upgrade in which you can re-order most stuff you've had in your inventory.

2. Buy all the stuff from your Nooks because it only upgrades after you spend a certain amount of money.

3. Going to Tortimer Island, as soon as you get that, fishing/catching bugs there and selling them in your town is the best way to get a good amount of money before you find alternative/personal ways to make even more.

4. Your native fruit has a perfect version to it. When you plant perfect fruit you create a perfect fruit tree. Perfect fruits sell for a lot of bells in other towns. I suggest you make a little forrest of them inside your town.

5. Certain bugs/fish can only be caught in certain seasons, so keep up or you're going to have to wait a year! :D (both talking about your catalogue and museum collection)

6. Building a camping site (which is possible after the permit thingy) allows you to select through this campingsite which villagers enter your town. Until you have build this your town will fill up with random villagers.

7. It is possible to guide villagers that move newly into your town to a different spot by using the plot reset trick.

8. The answers you give while on the train when first travelling to your town (when creating it) determine what your character's face looks like. The hair can be changed and so can the eye color, but the eye shape will always stay the same!

Alright, these were things that first came to mind and are things I wish I would've known when I first got it.

Have fun playing!
