I notice alot of people are resorting to methods such as putting fruit in Re-tail for max price until the value is achieved because they're afraid to lose count on how much they've dropped so far. Unless you're dropping royal crowns in currency instead of bells, dropping 99k bell bags are in my experience the most lucrative method of transferring currency to another player. The easiest way to keep count during huge transactions (20-50+ mill) is to simply deposit all your bells into your account emptying your pocket, then on a piece of paper or on your device (I use notes on my iPhone) subtract the amount you're trading from the amount you have total in your account. You record that number, then you just keep making trips from bank/ABD to drop point until your account is at the number you came to when you calculated it.

Example:

You have 18,000 bells in your pocket and 72,000,000 in the bank. You're buying a villager for 40 million.

1) Deposit the 18,000 so you have 0 bells on your villager.

- 72,018,000 bells

2) Subtract 40 million from your total value (72,018,000)

- 32,018,000 bells

3) Write this number down, and when you get to your seller's town, just keep dropping 99k bags and whatever remainder in the end until your bank account is at 32,018,000. Don't forget to empty your pocket bell bag and to utilize your 10 mail spaces so you're not wasting trips.

While this might be common sense to some people, others will insist on counting as they drop which will easily confuse them, especially while the host is banking while the visitor is dropping. Hopefully this will help some of you out. By doing the math in the beginning, it takes away the worry and stress of keeping count of 99k bags in the end and will also give the host trader the remainder bells the trader often leaves out from counting 99k bags as 100k bags.
