Tips on getting photos?

Aside from talking to them daily, you have two gift options:

1. Foreign fruit. This is a lot slower but it's the best option if you want to avoid altering their furniture.
2. Iron wall lamps/Hanging terrariums. This is by far the best item to give since it raises friendship very quickly. Although, while they will not display it in their houses, there is a small chances of them removing whatever wall furniture they have. Also, it's a litle resource-heavy (clay & iron nuggets) if you're going to give it daily.

Always wrap it for added friendship bonus.

I was gifting fruit and random items to my villagers everyday with no results.

Then I started gifting the gift wrapped hanging terrarium and talking to them every day and after about 5 days they started coming in, quickly.

I got 1 then another and then 2 in one day.

Now, if only lazy Stitches would give me one

good to know. i didn't know that wrapping it gives additional friendship bomus.

I usually will always give them wrapped clothing.
When picking the clothes, I tend to go for the styles and colors they like.
I've gotten all the villager pics this way but I know you can also get their pics by just raising their friendship more gradually.
I'm yet to get multiple photos of the villagers though and it's something I'm actively working towards as I want their photos displayed outside their houses.

I've only had one photo so far. Was doing the wrapped fruit method for a while then got a bit bored/busy and forgot. Then I gave Bangle a cute bed and she gave it to me in exchange.

I have gotten several photos so far, I didn't give them anything other than random clothes I thought would look good and/or funny on them. I talk to my villagers a lot though. I was surprised when they gave me their photos, I wasn't expecting any of them.
