Tips on getting amiibo card neighbors to move?

I have two non amiibo card neighbors who ask all the time. It just rotates between them and has done that for the past two months. Any tips on how to get the others to leave?

It's really just a time thing. I was trying to move out the last of my none amiibo villagers by time travelling and instead I ended up loading to find Toby in boxes. Time travelling and being patient is the only real way I've found, since amiibo move ins do take longer to leave than regular move ins

From what I understand, they will eventually leave, but they take a lot longer then normal villagers. Just needs more patience.

Guess I'll have to just keep trying then!

Yeah, they just take longer so be patient or fill your town with all coming from amiibo (in this case, they'll follow the normal move-out cycle)
