Ok, so if you ever accidentally bump into a villager and not Jack you'll have to sacrifice on your candy, or not, get cursed. The worst part about it is that you'll NEVER, I mean NEVER get back your clothes ever again! D: But to be on the safe side, if you have a hat, accessory and/or shoes on take them off immediately! Also, wear a custom design shirt and buy pants you don't really feel like you need for yourself.

For candy, you'll probably need to buy some. But for masks however, you don't really need to buy any (Of course you probably did, but this is for those who didn't, like me...). Because when you talk to Jack for the first time (The only one wearing an orange pumpkin mask), always ask for a mask. The mask that Jack gave you can be used to scare certain villagers inside their houses, use this guide for what kind of mask villagers are afraid of: http://www.thonky.com/animal-crossing-new-leaf/halloween
None of the villager's that you have that are inside their house/residents scared of that mask that Jack gave you? That's ok, just find him again and ask for another mask and repeat. Or just save and quit to manipulate a certain villager that is scared of a mask that you recently have, but is outside.

That certain villager you scared will give you a piece of candy or lollipop, but only once per villager and ask you to leave. The lollipop will not let Jack give you a special item, but just a special message. Then just give Jack some regular candy and hope for him to give you the creepy series, cause he can give you the spooky series which you can already get in T&T.

Just rinse and repeat everything until you get all the creepy series. Hope this guide helps you and have a Happy, spoopy Halloween!

Here's an accurate chart that gives fears by species and personality: http://www.thonky.com/animal-crossing-new-leaf/halloween
I'd recommend that if you have to scroll down far, put a finger on the screen with the column you need and look for the species. Follow to your finger and you have your mask!
Lol, thanks, but I have that site posted on my guide already.

Oh, and help out on what I missed.

also, you don't even have to buy pants. put on a dress, then put on a custom design shirt- your pants/skirt will default to the grey ones shown when you don't have a bottoms clothing item on.

Oh yeah. That could work too.

Hello! Thanks for the tips! So, Jack will continue giving you masks if you ask?

While you run the risk of losing your clothing, you don't automatically just lose because a villager runs into you. They play Charades and Rock-Paper-Scissors with you, and if you win, you get candy from them. Charades is easy, but rock-paper-scissors can be tough since you only get one chance. As such, you don't really need to have purchased candy beforehand, you can just win it from the games or from scaring the villagers who are in their house multiple times.

You can also get more lollipops by saving, quitting, and loading up the save again. If you're lucky, villagers who were in their houses will go outside and those who were outside will go inside.

I personally think the Patched Clothing is pretty neat, so if you want them, just wear clothes that you don't care about losing. It will give you what you're wearing, so a shirt will become the patched shirt, pants/skirts will be patched pants, dress will be a patched dress. You have to be wearing a hat to get the patched hat.

You can get the multiple colored pumpkin heads that your villagers are wearing by not having a hat on and either accidentally or purposefully losing a game to them. These ones are not orderable from the Nooklings.

You can get Jack's pumpkin head by refusing to give him candy when not wearing anything on your head. This one is able to be purchased from the Nooklings catalog for 4,000 bells.

If you want to farm multiple pumpkin heads, you need to take the current one off of your head.

Also, you can get Old Wallpaper and Old Flooring. They're technically considered trash but can still be used in your house. It's plain, but I like it too.

If you carry around some random furniture, you might be able to get the Jack-in-the-box as well.

Thanks for those tips.

I said that I wasn't going to go trick or treating tonight on AC but I think I will now! Thanks! Also I have a question. If you go to another town on Halloween, can you scare/trick or treat those villagers as well as your own?

Thanks so much! I was hoping to catalogue all the unique Halloween items today, and you've helped a lot!
