Tips for decorating a flower room?

one of my villagers (daishou - not my mayor) has a plant themed house, and right now the upstairs is meant to be themed more on flowers than plants (since the main room is filled to the brim w/ plants).

i've kind of left the room alone for a while, but i feel like its time to pick it back up and design it. does anyone have any tips?

rn in the room i have:

• ivy wall
• old board floor
• 3 flower display cases
• 6 different types of bonsais
• a few regular flowers from outside
• 2 lotus lamps (currently both pink, might change their colors)
• swinging bench (+ a mannequin and globe, these things more for aesthetics lol)
• a barrel planter on each side of the doorway
• various tables (including 4 default rococo tables) and flowers bought from leif

i just kind of have things somewhat thrown in here and i'm trying to find a nice way to lay it out and what items i might add to the room or customize.

but yeah, does anyone have any tips?
it's not really a shop, just meant to be aesthetically pleasing.

BTW if anyone's selling a lily lamp, violet screen, or rose sofa, i'm willing to buy (preferably w IGB but i'll consider TBT bells)

Well, the ivy wall might be a bit too busy for a room full of flowers. Just see how you like it when everything is arranged. Instead of 3 display cases, maybe consider just one, then, if you can get them, the ikebana display is cool. So are the two fruit/flower baskets-one is the banana flower basket, the other is the durian flower basket. They really add pop to a room. I love the lotus lamps, the swinging bench will look great, imo. More RV items: hibiscus is pretty; Casablanca lilies are stunning.

I have the Aquarius urn in one of my garden rooms, and the Merlion I love alot-it adds the sound of running water! The plant partition adds interest, too. How about a watering can? I put a golden one in one of my rooms.

I'm on a roll, now, lol. The lotus pond or outdoor bath; lily pad table, sprout table, mush table, tea table, butterfly table all look so cute with plants or flowers on them, depending on your likes. The box-shaped seat looks really cute with the very small plants on it, like the mini cactus.

I guess I've gone on long enough. I would love to see your room when it is finished. I don't even have a photo of any of my rooms in my computer yet, or I would show one here. Maybe I will be back to put one on. Have fun with the ideas!

a lot of those items would actually go well in one of daishou's other rooms! his basement is kind of an outdoor room, with the mountain (like from the hhd downloadable items), some iron garden furniture (whatever i can get my hands on), some other campsite stuff, and whatever else i've managed to get my hands on so far.
