Tips for catching Napoleonfish?

Honestly I caught most of if not all of my fish while landscaping/beach-combing for manila clams.
If you walk one time all the way around your beach, then go into a building and come out and then comb all the way around again, I feel like it helps spawns. I also scare away any wrong-sized shadows.
No clue if scaring wrong-sized fish and building-entering help with the spawns but that's what I did.
