I visit all these Dream Towns that are so beautiful! All the pwp's and path placements and such. I want to make my town look stunning as well and I was wondering if anyone had any tips who have a pretty town themselves!

Get hybrids. You're going to need lots of them. The best way is to rack up bells and buy them, breeding will do next to nothing for your progress if you don't TT.

As for PWPs, find a list of them and start planning where you're going to place them. Start using the wetsuit trick. That will most certainly help you in your attempt to get the PWPs wanted for the Dream Town.

By the way, I'm nearing the end of my landscaping for my entire town, so I have a lot of experience with this.

Pre-planning helps a lot, especially since you can't relocate some PWP :/ I kicked up all my paths & redid them and it helped everything flow better.

Do whatever you feel is pretty~
I always hear people complain about the lack of hybrids in one town. This is poppycock! (Silliness) I'm lining my paths with Yellow roses and they look brilliant. However, Hybrids are very colourful and do splash a bit colour to your town~

Pick a good path. Make another character and get him/her the QR machine. And load them on him/her. It saves time and space on your mayor. I personally like 2x2 paths but there is no reason not to have 1x1 paths either! These paths are easily changeable, so just find a random path, place it down then find a path you like better!

Look up a list of PWP's that villagers request. Uchi/big sister villagers request the Picnic blanket which is very cool. My uchi hasn't requested it yet D:<. I believe Peppy villagers request the illuminated set, too.

You might want to Plot reset so your villagers don't plot in stupid places.

Public works projects make wonderful centerpieces for landscaping in general. For instance, a mere hammock and bell can be surrounded by bushes, filled on the inside with hybrid flowers, and have paths cutting to the left and right outside the bushes.

I like to get the full pwp list soo I do the trick everyday until I finish the list xD it takes all lot of time and it's so boring but it's worth in the end cause u ur town can change soo much within a day , then I like to hybrids and Dreamies I leave my house until last that's they way I plan my town : p

I think that the first thing you should do is create paths for your town, then you can fit in villager houses and PWPs.

Set up different colour flowers and lots of fruit trees, make paths that go all over the place and only build certain PWPs, I love pretty towns too <3

Just do what you think is nice to you! I had paths, but a villager placement destroyed it, So my town is all natural. I just have pwps placed in various places that I think is good :3 also if you want, my dream address is in my signature

To be blunt...

1. Lot's of PWPs that match each others (modern with modern PWPs for example)
2. Color matching Hybrids
3. Organized villager houses (via plot resetting)
4. Obtain path patterns that suit the theme of your town and your liking.
5. Plan and design walkways that are vertical and horizontal (not diagonal).

Get pretty paths that match your town theme and a lot of hybrids
Also make sure to unlock a variety of public works projects

The best thing to do is to start out by running your paths from house to house, and connecting the station, town hall, Re-Tail, etc. to each other. Only then should you put down PWPs, since the path will determine the best places to put them. In my first town of Pangola, I put the PWPs down wherever, and then I pathed, and I ended up having to demolish most of them. I still am kind of iffy about that town. I pathed first in Mirage and the PWP placement makes a lot of sense to me.

The only thing I'm not sure about is villager houses. I am seriously too impatient to plot reset, but it looks SOO beautiful when they're in lines...
