I'm not actually selling/trading anything at the moment, so I'm not sure if this should go in the Re-Tail thread or not. Forgive me if this is in the wrong section! ;;

Anyhow, I'm really really new to the "economy" here in AC:NL, and I just wanted to know if anybody has tips for me? I know that unorderables are pretty valuable, and Island items, but is there maybe a price guide I can follow somewhere? I don't want to underprice or overprice any of the stuff I want to trade in the future.

Any help would be appreciated; thank you!

I found 'economy' funny ~ so serious hahaha xD Anyway all I can think of is:
- Sell rare items from the island
- When pricing, either get the buyer to make the offer or check out previous threads from TBT to see what price they usually go for :)

Make sure you know who you're trading with so you don't get scammed c: It rarely happens here, but be prepared ^u^

Once you hang around the retail forum enough you'll really get the hang of prices same for villagers in the villager trading plaza if you plan on selling them. If you aren't sure of a proper price to offer then just ask...most people on here are very nice and willing to negotiate. You can also scan the thread in general and see what other people are offering for similar items before making your own offer. If you're selling then just ask people to offer an amount and you can decide whether it seems right or wrong for you.

Also with this in mind; remember your wifi button on the side of your 3DS. If someone is trying to take an item without paying/trading or doing something else unfavorable...just flip the wifi switch. It'll return them back to their town and won't save any of the damage they did.

Are all island items considered rare, or are there select items that are rarer than others besides wetsuits, silver axes, and toy hammers?

Thanks everyone for the tips; I'll surely keep these in mind!

Not all are rare ~ otherwise it'd be easy to get hold of them :) things like the treasure chest, pink wetsuit and bath thing (I have one, yet I forgot what it's called xD) are though
