In all of my previous ac games, I?ve always played pretty casually. Only time traveling sometimes, never very seriously. I guess I was just looking for some tips anyone can offer! Most effective ways to get furniture/dreamies/etc. Muchos gracias pals! :)

- If you want to keep your dreamies, make sure to start up the game once or twice each day in-game at least and check for pings, talk to villagers etc. If you don't want anyone I guess you can ignore them.
- If you are relying on moving in villagers/dreamies from the campsite, I'd advice not to depend too much on that since they don't appear too often if at all in periods and there are a lot of villagers. If you want dreamies, just buy them for eg. here or other places, or use amiibo cards if you have them.
- As for furniture, it changes each day yes but you wouldn't wanna miss gracie checks since they can take a while once you get your store enough upgraded and bought from. So yeah don't go too fast because of that only.
- Time traveling back only counts as one day.

Awesome advice! Thank you, friend :)

No problems! Also I don't know if you knew this beforehand but yeah not all villagers will be inside or outside at the same time, hence why I wrote the paragraph about checking in on the game at least twice (just save and quit if the ones you need out are inside etc.)

Also, keep in mind that when you travel forward/backwards, your turnips will rot. Also, if you do not have the Beautiful Town ordinance; then you will have to water your flowers each in-game day.

On that note, let's say that you want to grow some golden roses (which need to be wilted first before being watered by a gold watering can) and have the Beautiful Ordinance currently in place. You then decide to switch it into the Luxury Town ordinance in the meantime that you try to wither and water the roses. After you talk to Isabelle about switching ordinances, the new ordinance will take effect the next in-game day. It's the same if you want to switch the ordinance back into Beautiful Town. So yeah, if you plan on growing hybrid flowers be careful.

I hope that I explained myself clearly.

Yeah I think I understand what you’re saying. Thanks! I don’t have experience with making hybrids and I always have the beautiful town ordinance on so definitely noted! :)

I TT like heeck. Even thou I have the Beautiful Ordinance, if I travel alot of days in one sitting I see some weeds pop up. Also, you can safely travel ahead in time and your turnips won't rot. But if you go backwards, they will rot. One time I wanted to play at 12pm, but I accidentally made it midnight. I fixed it but my turnips were spoiled.

If you plan on skipping days completely, such as playing on the 1st then skip all the way to the 10th, your grass will grow back, esp in summer and winter season where the rain/snow makes it grow faster. Sounds good to most, but when you have natrual dirt paths, it can be a pain.

Avoid TT when it's close to the end of the season sale at Gracie shop.
When I time travelled I landed on the 15th of November. It was the start of the end of season sales.
The sale items were there but no regular items. Thru the rest of November regular items rare appeared.

For Club LOL avoid time traveling once the petition is handed in. There were a lot of posts that the Club didn't open after they did the petition and than time travel to open the Club. Some said they went a year and no Club. Not sure if they fixed this with the update.
For the Club LOL I say no and he'll wait outside the club. You can get the petition later when your not tting and have time to wait for the club to open.

Considering I murdered all but 1 of my hybrids and 98% of my normal flowers the one time I tried to TT my advice is to put Beautiful Town on before you even remotely think of TTing. Also make sure to talk to ALL of your villagers until you find the one who is thinking of moving. Then either stop them or let them move.

I'm only going to TT within the current game day from now. I hope you have a great time TTing & much success!

Even though I do not time travel in New Leaf, I did time travel in City Folk to grow my grass back (since grass trampling was absolutely horrid in that game! :o). From my past experience, my biggest advice would be to always time travel 1 day at a time to benefit the most out of time traveling (grass growth, keep your villagers, get furniture, breed hybrids, etc.)! Hope this helps! :)
