Tips for a good food town

LOL, seems like a lot of people are doing food towns.
I was meant to do a food town, but then I decided I just wanted a normal beautiful town ^~^
villagers:
~Marshal (marshmallow)
~zucker (takoyaki)
~chadder (cheese)
~Merengue (marshmallow)
~coco (coconut)
and yeah, there's more but I can't remember D:

I'm making a food town.. All the villagers are in my signature
I haven't seen that many do it tbh
Basically for Normal.. You could get Merengue Mainly or Coco
Peppy: Apple, Sprinkle, BonBon, Tangy
Snooty: Pancetti, Mint
Uchi: Frita
Lazy: Zucker
Cranky: T-Bone, Angus, Octavian?
Jock: Theres not many, it was hard me deciding, you could maybe get Costeau the chef frog
Smug: Chadder

I wanted to do a food town a while ago, but I gave up myself. Good luck to you and anyone else making one, a few of the villagers seem hard to get. ^^
Other than villagers, what I'd do...
- You can find food-themed paths that might be good to use. For instance, I know there's a pizza one somewhere.
- The name should probably have something to do with food, like Gizmodo's Parfait. Personally, I'd go with something more general (no offense) (but Ganache would be totally cute).
- You could have ingredients "growing" wildly, for instance a lollipop garden.
- I would definitely add an orchard.
- You could leave snacks just lying everywhere, which might be cute.
- Maybe with villagers, try and decide if you want to stick more to the villagers that actually look like food, or maybe just go with only villagers that are named after food.
- With a fantasy town, maybe you could also take influences from actual fantasy creatures and fairy tales, like the witch's house from Hansel and Gretel or a fairy banquet (look into fairy food, you could make this part somewhat scary). Maybe also look into these kinds of things in other cultures.
Those are the ones I can come up with off the top of my head. There's definitely a lot more you can do, though.

I was lucky to start off with Tia & Tangy when i began the game
and Marshal moved in like 3 days after.. and then i won a giveaway of bells too
if i didnt, i probs would have given up as it is hard
