TIP: Talk to Sable everyday

If you played New Leaf you may already know that Sable is very shy, but if you keep trying to talk to her day after day, she'll eventually open up and will start talking with you.

This unlocks two things:

- there's a story about the Able Sisters' family that you'll be able to learn about from Sable and Mable, triggered by talking to Sable everyday (Mable will also enter the conversation as you speak with her sister). After you complete the first task given by Labelle (now called Label), the storyline will be expanded further.

- after some time, when you talk to Sable, she'll give you a design pattern created by her.

I've thought about posting a video of one of these conversations (the deepest one), but I wouldn't want to spoil it for other people, so that's why I made this thread.

You can still talk to her and unlock both the storyline and the patterns.

The designs you get from Sable, where are they kept in your inventory? I'm asking because I've gotten several designs from her but whenever I go to check them I can't find anything. I thought it was with the customizations options when you're at the crafting table, or under the section where your own patterns are kept, but nothing is there either.

They aren't in your inventory. They open up options when you are customizing items that have fabric. It's at the end of the standard color options and right before the custom pattern option.

That's what I initially thought, but earlier I was trying to customize a wooden bed, and the patterns didn't appear.

I actually love all the patterns she gives out everyday.
I refurbished so much of my furniture with it already and it made such a huge difference.
I'm wondering if there's a limit to the patterns she gives/you can store eventually though.

How many pattern sets can she give out? So far I have dots, checkers, retro, natural, toyhouse (i think thats the name, not checking)
They're all really nice to customize with.
