time travling Question

so I started a new town, and wanted to time travel until I got all my stores and stuff back, well now im in oct and have all my stuff back, house paid off, all shop upgrades...
NOW Lets say I want to travel back to real time (july) does going back effect my town? I have rosie and kiki and keaton and I dont want to lose them, is it the same risk to go back as it is go to ahead? so id be giong back about 3 months.

Only downside to TT is losing all your turnips if you have any. I also found out if you put your AC game into another 3DS and the time is different on it your turnips will become rotten. But there should not be any problems with weeds or losing villagers if you TT backwards.
