Time travelling question

So I'm trying to sell Fang. He's moving out today, but he's asleep. If I time travel again just a few hours forward will be disappear?
I remember I had someone move out once and I TT a few hours back and they vanished.

as long as it's a few hours forward it shouldn't cause him to move out. he won't leave before his moving day is up. just make sure you aren't on the edge of a day

days in animal crossing last from 6am - 6am, so as long as you dont time travel past 6am he should stay in your town

As the others said just don't TT to another day. So if it's early rn and he's sleeping, you can safely TT forward to like, say, noon, and he'll be there all packed up and ready to say his goodbyes. If he's asleep because it's late, you can TT back and he'll be there so long as you don't go past 6AM and it's the same day.
