Time Travelling a year.

Is it safe? because, my town, is wiredly set in 2016, and i need to know if its safe, to Time travel a year with the beautiful town ordinance, idk if i want to.

I have done it before many times with very little consequences. Only a few weeds, and sometimes I didn't even have a villager leave. If you are really connected to a villager, I wouldn't risk it because they may leave. To help prevent this try to befriend one of your least favorite villagers first, and they will most likely be the one to move instead. Only one villager would move, if any. Then just make sure you talk to everyone to make sure no body else is thinking of moving. Interestingly enough, I time travelled many years to try to do a "cleanout" because I hated all my villagers, and lots of times, no one moved! And I was ahead like 50 years haha. After like 20 times of doing it there were enough weeds to get Lief out for weeding day. Good luck!
