whenever i played the game, i only time traveled for the sake of the TBT. Like those who missed a holiday because of technical difficulties--or yes, even fruit. I would mess up my town just so someone who did not have apples would GET apples---but wait, why would may town be lacking apples? Because the previous people i let into my town either picked them all, or i sold them already. (apple is a foreign fruit to me btw)
The only time i would time travel, if i was actually playing ALONE, would be to jump ahead just to finish some kind of meeting that animals set me up with so i can actually do what i want at whatever time they wanted to show up. -nod- It is annoying to have visitors, and some that don't even have taste in house decorations.
