What is time traveling and what does it do for you?
&& how do you do it? Is it under that other options when Isabelle asks me at the start up if I want to play now or "I need some help first"?

**Confused**

Time Travelling is when you jump back and/or forward in time within the game (rather than playing it in real-time). It helps you collect things like bugs/fish as you can change the season to when specific ones appear (e.g. String Fish during winter). It also helps with filling the catalog as you can skip through days quickly in order to change the shops daily stock.

You can use the 'I need some help first option" before you load your character (there should be a "change date/time" option but it is better to change the 3DS system clock). before you even start your AC;NL game you go Settings>Other Settings>Date and Time and change the date/time according to what it is you want to do, then exit settings and start your game as normal.

I hope this helps, I TT a lot so I thought I should try answering your question.

Thanks that was helpful, is it useful though? It wont screw up will it, and like fry the computer in it? It is reversable too isnt it? Is there a certain list of dates when its winter in the game or does it go by where I live? Like right now its summer in Canada and in the game, but its winter in australia so if i lived there would it be winter in the game too?

It is useful in some cases, for example, wanting to reset a villager's location or the villager itself. But it does cause some consequences like rotten turnips, villagers moving out, weeds unless you have the 'Beautiful Town' ordinance. And it is reversible. TT-ing is not bad at all, I frequently TT for items and fast forwarding public works projects but I have lost some good villagers due to time traveling 5 days ahead. :(

So just be cautions and smart and if you do time travel, I would only recommend 1-2 days max in order to be safe!
