Time Traveling

TTing is safe in moderation.
when i TT, i usually TT a day at a time. to check the shops, talk to villagers, check the stalk market, etc. i probably wouldn't suggest tting more than a few weeks.

when i had wild world i did that money trick, where you would put a lot of money in the bank, time travel 99+ years into the future, and tt back and the interest over that many years would equal an extreme amount of money. however, that was a big mistake, because i came back to a town full of weeds, many new villagers, and a big, ugly raffelesia plant in the middle of my town. D:

so i would just suggest to take your time travelling slowly! a day or two at a time, make sure you talk to the villagers you want to keep every time you travel.

I just TT'd for the first time in this game because I missed Joan this morning due to Katie being there. I TT'd to Monday and Tuesday and then back to Sunday morning and will TT to the proper hour in a bit. The only reason I went to Tuesday was to get my TIY upgrade overwith...and to be sure Katie would not be in my town again Sunday morning!
It worked, Katie wasn't there and I got an entire closet full of turnips.
I do not want to make TTing a habit but to get through a shop upgrade I might in the future because I have no patience

I TT day by day a lot, but I always make sure I water all my flowers, collect my fossils, talk to all my villagers (to ensure my favorites don't move out), check all the shops, etc before I TT. I'm too impatient to wait for my PWP to finish in real time. I also don't want to wait until night time (when it's day time) to hunt for beetles.

I'm not against time travelling. In AC:WW I TT, but since I just started new leaf I'm loving the concept of real time. x) (Even if it's been a pain to wait for mayor license and upgrades) ​

i used to mainly time travel so that PWP's or house construction would be completed or if i ran out of stuff to do that day, and then time travel 24 hours ahead. but now, when all the stores close, i just time travel a few hours back so i can shop and whatnot. then, when it's the next day in REAL LIFE time, i change back to the current time and date.
