Time Traveling

When I used to time travel in Wild World, there were some things that happened like: no red turnips, low prices at nook, ect, ect... But it would all go back to normal in about a week or two. Is this true about City Folk? I know most of the effects are the same, including not being able to see the ballon guy for x amount of time, but I haven't seen anyone give a tested and confirmed answer if City Folk would go back to normal a week or two later after fixing the clock back to normal.

[I mainly want to try this just to get back items I lost when my lil cosine deleted my town.)

I'm just wondering if the effects eventually stop.

Yeah it goes back if you stop doing it. In my old town I time traveled all the time. I ended up just making a new town, that I vowed i will never time travel in. Sooo we'll see how long that lasts lol

Is there a week reset, like in Wild World though?
