Time traveling within the same day

I need to get a few things for my second town that I have in my first. The only thing is, I want funny glasses for my second town, but I would have to reorder them and they won't come until 5. I don't want to wait for 5pm and I don't want to have to buy another pair off of someone else. I personally hate TTing in my first town (I lost a villager once in a TT accident). My question is, if I TT to 5pm and come back to the real time in the same day, will I mess up anything in my town? (villagers moving out,etc)

I time travel within the same day all the time. It's not the same as changing the date at all.

Even if it did affect villagers they always stay when I tell them too. Just can't miss pings too many days in a row.

Same as Belle, I constantly tt throughout the day . No worries at all.

I change the time in my games constantly, it's never hurt anything.

NOTHING will happen. It is how have been successful in my online shop. I TT in the same day all the time. No villagers will move in or out, and so on. You can even go past midnight and then go back to 605 am. as long as you don't go past 6 am the next day day or before 6 am the previous day you are fine.

Nothing happens to your town; I time traveled a few hours today to pick up an order and everything was fine.
