I have decided to start time traveling villagers out but I need some tips. I know the basics like taking it one day at a time so you can talk to the villagers you want to keep. I need tips like which clock to use, how to time travel villagers out easily, and all that stuff.

People TT various ways, but I stick to the conservative method of going day by day and spam talking 2-3 villagers each day until they get bored. It takes 5 days for a villager to move out, so that'll work out to (3 villagers x 10 approx conversations x 5 days) = 150 conversations. It is extremely unlikely for you to miss any rumours. I know it's tedious, but I'm used to this method and it has worked for me so far with no lost dreamies :)

I haven't tried that method yet, but it makes perfect sense. Once you turn someone down, no-one can move until a new day is loaded; waiting 3 days almost guarantees a new villager will be chosen; using the reset trick allows you to safely find out who it is, go back and either accept or turn them down. I am almost finished holding all my friends' dream villagers and will definitely be doing this method in the future.

I think I'll do this as well, plus spamming with your dreamies is also a good way to keep them in town.

Weeelll... talking to them increases friendship, and it does seem that the ones I'm friends with most keep asking to leave :( I just say no and keep them hostage :P

I hope my method works well for you guys! I so far haven't had it fail me :D we should try to spread it around since I think it works a lot better than other recommended methods that require so much talking to/trying to get villagers to ping~
