I have just started to experiment around with TT, just a few days usually to complete trade sales.
I’m curious what other people opinions and experiences are. What’s the most you’ve traveled forward/back? What were the results?

I’m scared to try myself right now so I thought I’d throw the question out there

Hm. I tt-ed on my friends switch and we went all the way to winter. She caught some new bugs and fish... and yeah. The villagers got pissy for being ignored for so long even tho they technically weren't lol. She also got the easter egg hair (the hair u get when you've been inactive for a week or two) which was kinda lit

I say tt ain't as ad as they make it seem. It can just be dangerous at times if you don't talk to your villagers inbetween

I mean... the villagers complain slightly, but it's not "dangerous"- in ACNH there is ZERO risk of a villager leaving without permission. They simply don't do it.

Anyway, as my custom title indicates, I'm a TTer! I normally do one day at a time, and am usually a week or two ahead. But recently I TTed to November because I COULD NOT wait until mushroom season! So now I'm enjoying mushroom season ☺

Do you lose friendship status for ignoring them like that?
That I don't know. But, if you do, it doesn't seem to be much- my villagers are all still very friendly with me. They don't hold grudges or anything.

I think I read in another thread when some asked about that, that you don’t lose friendship though they will say that you have been gone so long. I might be mistaken though.

The most I have tted is two days forward (accidentally); I like tting only a day forward or backwards the most. I’ve been tempted to tt to winter for the frozen and illuminated diys but I want to experience the event and get the diys when they become available without tting.

I ask because I’ve upping my gifting game to get photos (and failing lol), I don’t want to lose the progress I have with them

I tt'd up to fall in the beginning to grab a pine bonsai diy because I wanted to craft a bonsai table already and didn't want to buy it for the prices people were trying to get for it. That was the farthest.

I'm fine with TT. I personally like to leave off on the current date so, no matter how far, I always TT back to current time at the end of the day. Ususally I mostly TT in the beginning to unlock shops and then my amount of TT scales back...and usually mostly is just a day forward and back at most.
But, right now since I have a break to advantage of, I've been TTing for Redd's art...I'm going to be busy soon and, for how little he appears, I just don't have the patience or want to spend time worrying about missing him on any given day.
I wish he show'd up more regularly like in New Leaf but it is what it is I guess.

I never used to tt but as I’ve completed a lot of what the game has to offer now then I know if I don’t I’ll get bored and start playing less. I play a lot so there just isn’t enough content for me currently in real time. I haven’t gone too far - I’m currently in November catching the last few fish and bugs for my critterpedia and mushroom picking. Personally I don’t think it hurts anybody and it’s up to people’s own preference how they want to play a game they paid a decent sum of money for!
