Ok so I time travel a lot, so when I started my new town I decided to place it a couple of years in the past. This is bothering me sort of right now and I i want to time travel forward to 2018. Currently it?s 2014 in My game. If I have a villager about to move, and tt forward, will this risk the chance of someone else moving? Or just that one villager? I ask because I don?t really care about that one villager but do about the others.

I never tried it myself, but from what I heard from others, I believe that if you travel a couple years to the future within the 10 days notice, only that one villager will be gone. Your grass will be restored, too~ Weeds and your villagers saying you died and bed hair and such will happen, though. x)

This works if you used your 3Ds clock to time travel, not your in game clock. Also your town needs to be on beautiful town ordinance (activate it then go to next day for it to be officially active in your town).

Play through the days one day at a time till someone asks to move, tell them no then save and quit. Then move your 3DS clock forward to where you want it to be. When you restart your game it should unaffected by the time travel except bed hair and villagers ask where you have been.

I have successfully done this for skipping weeks or months, I have not tried years though, so I am not certain how well it will do.

When you say the clock that I need to change, is it the calendar clock that Isabelle adjusts?

It's the ds settings clock/calendar. Adjust it in the ds settings on the home screen before you log into your game when you're ready to time travel. So, no, it's not the one Isabelle adjusts when you open the game.
