So, I realized I missed a crab species in March that I won't be able to get again until November, the Red King Crab. I really don't want to, but I'm thinking of time traveling back to March in order to catch one, then coming back to today, so... Does anyone know what would happen? Would it severely mess things up or would everything be okay?

TTing back = 1 day
TTing forward = however many days you skip

Since its not THAT long of a span i'd say you'd be okay. Just do it piece-meal to avoid any accidental moveouts

TTing back any amount of time counts as one day, so you could TT back to March and it would only count as one day forward. TTing forward, however, counts as however many days you go forward, so if you don't want to risk losing any villagers either TT one day at a time and talk to your villagers, or wait until a villager pings to move, and then after you tell them not to you can TT back to where you are now and no one else should move. Also I'd suggest turning on the beautiful town ordinance if you decide to do that (if you don't have it already) so your flowers don't die.

Alright, so thanks to all of you I was able to accomplish getting the crab without a single animal moving out! I can't thank you guys enough, as I really didn't want to have to wait until November because it would the last thing needed to fill out my diving encyclopedia. I can wait until September for the one final diving creature needed. As stated many times already, thanks!
