So I haven't played Animal Crossing for a month so I'm time traveling to catch up.... It's been interesting to see what I missed.... Only problem is that it caused some of my villagers to move away. Both Rocket and Leonardo left without a word because I changed the date by 1 day!

Have you ever lost any villagers by time travel?

When I was TTing to get the sloppy set in my Re-Tail I lost a lot of villagers, but it was only 2 or 3 spaces that kept being emptied and filled, I kept most of my villagers so it wasnt that bad :)

I'm VERY careful when I TT. Even if I TT day by day, I always make it a point to talk to all of my villagers and if I'm really unsure, I talk to them until I see rumor dialogues from at least three of them.

I talked to Leonardo before I changed the date. I then saved my data and changed the date by one day and his whole house was gone!

I once time travelled an entire year, and then another one to see what would happen to my town. Fortunately it wasn't any different than skipping a few days, only a villager would leave without a notice, only a letter in my mailbox.

and it was my favorite villager, lol.

Yeah. I don't normally time travel, but I decided that my smooth, fascinatingly hinged 3DS should never ever ever be taken on visits home to my intellectually handicapped and Autistic brother who loves smooth, fascinatingly hinged things. I was going to be visiting him between 23 December to 15 January, and I didn't want to miss Christmas, New Year or two villager birthdays. So I time travelled and lost Molly. Still, I probably would have lost her anyway without time travelling.
