I tried looking around for something similar to this and found nothing, so here it goes:

I need a Time Traveler that is willing to go to a date somewhere in January or February so I can fish for a Blowfish.

I have had the game since it was released in America June 9, 2013, and I'm finally over it. I want my museum filled and while I am not willing to TT myself, I desperately want to visit/fish in someone's town that IS willing to TT.

I don't run, I don't pick things up (hybrids, items or otherwise), and I can avoid talking to your villagers. If you have additional rules, give it to me and I will follow them. I really just want that fish.

I don't really know what I can offer for this, but please tell me what you'd like in turn and I will do my best. Thank you!

UPDATE: Also please set the time between 9PM and 4AM, since that is the only time I can catch the Blowfish.

OMG i catch so many of those that it's annoying haha they show up very frequently on the island from june-july so really you don't need to TT for the blow fish. Just fish for them in the daylight on the island and you're bound to get one!

Are you sure you're not thinking of the Puffer Fish? I catch those all of the time too, but I haven't seen a Blow Fish yet.

But I will give it a try tomorrow during the day

No no, the blowfish is different than the pufferfish! The pufferfish is the one that you catch on the island, and it's yellow. The blowfish is green, has no spikes, and can only be caught in winter. I totally remember, because I was caught in this predicament as well -- the blowfish was the last fish I caught, even after the oarfish.

totally reasonable mistake to make tho like why would they name them so similarly

At least you caught it eventually! I'm baffled that it's one of the last ones I catch, even after the Coelacanth! It seems easy to miss.

I think you hit the nail on the head there - it's easy to miss. I never really catch the small fishes because I figure it'll be just another horse mackerel, so why bother. That's totally how I ended up not catching it until the very end.

do you still need help? you can do it for free in my town. i cycle so it really doesn't matter how far back i tt and i'm down to eight villagers now so i'm expecting a move in rather than someone leaving.
