Time Travel Question...

Hello, all! Quick question regarding time travel.

I just got another copy of New Leaf so I could make a themed town (and also to get dream villagers for myself and others) downloaded onto my 3ds. However, I just want to make sure that Time Traveling won't effect my cartridge's village. If I don't use my cartridge game, will the TT still bother that village?

No, they are different games. Imagine if you completed a level on mario, would it complete on sonic? They are like two different versions.

There is an in-game time? Goodness, I feel silly. I've been using the 3ds clock.
