I'm back at the end of Dec and I'm tting between the 22nd and 23rd trying to get the festive flag. Amelia just told me she's moving on the 1st(I'm perfectly fine with this). Now that she is scheduled to leave, as long as I stay between these two days does that mean no one will leave? Meaning I can keep doing this without fear of losing someone I don't want to move? All I am doing is going to the store, look for item, save and change day, repeat. Also if it matters Kody just moved in(still in boxes). Thanks

I think if you tt back a day it counts as a day. So after Amelia leaves just make sure to check that no one else has intentions. The only way to not make it count is tt during the same day.

Amelia said she's moving on the 1st. If I keep between the 22-23 it can't get to the 1st so doesn't that mean she can't leave?
Like wouldn't she be "stuck" until I get to that day? And since only one villager at a time can leave and she's stuck that means no one else would be able to leave, right?

I just tried this with my villager...he ended up leaving sooner. So let’s say she is leaving on the first. If you time travel between 22 and 23 she will leaving in 6 Days ( if she asked on the 23rd) no matter if you stay between those two days. So she will not be leaving on the 1st even if it was said, just six days after she said it in your case.

Thanks for clearing this up for me guys, I appreciate the help. Idk why the darn festive flag is so difficult for me to get. I've had the festive candle like 6 times but the flag not even once? What the heck?! I'll be sure and keep and eye on when Amelia moves but I have a feeling I may end up coming back here and just buy the thing, lol.
I bought the flag from someone as it never appeared in my town either.
In WW it was common, but now I think it may only be available in Japan.
Moridb says it's buyable from Timmy and Tommy from 12/1-12/23. I swapped days til Amelia left and still no flag. I think I'm just gonna buy it. It wasn't a total loss since I was able to get a bunch more toward my 50 fertilizers for the gold shovel and Redd happened to be there one of the days so I got a bunch more art for the museum. Thanks again.
Yesterday, I TT'd between two days. One of them was the fishing tourney so nobody pinged, but I spoke to everyone.
Miserabelle informs me at startup that WALT is leaving.
I spent the rest of the day laying down patterns, and amiibo'd him back in after TT'g to the next day.
I NEVER got any notice, nor did I TT more than ten days worth.
In fact, I had just talked Shep out of moving.
Also to debunk another myth, Walt was my LAST villager to move in.
