You Just Invented the Time Machine and now you can go back in Time heres the Rules.

1. Can go back in time not Forward.
2. Can only Watch events not take part in the events.
3. Can only go 3 times ,after that no more time Machine.

Ok the Rules are Set , so where would u go and Why ?

1. wouldn't go back in time because that'd just cause problems in the past, like those sci-fi movies about changing the past (y'all know what i'm talking about don't deny it), and i'd be scared to death because everything is so rough and tough. i'm only a small child, i'd die in three seconds.
2. i wouldn't watch it either. i mean, sure you can come back to the present and say "the gov has been hiding aliens since 1912" or some crap but no one will believe you. i think that's a big problem with going back to watch events, people will just think you're crazy.

but if i were to watch it and actually use it, like pausing and unpausing the time, i'd go to unsolved murder cases. i know it might sound weird, but i'd like to see what really happened. were they possessed? did someone scare them to killing themselves? who knows right? wrong, i will.

Agree. Like, who was Jack the ripper? Like, unsolved murders are the most unsatisfying thing ever

Theres no risk of you being killed unless you break the 3 times rule. Think of it as more of Watching the event no one sees you and you cant interact with anything just watch. This keep the event intact and timeline in place.

I would definitely go back to when me and my cousin would go water tubing. I would watch the best wipeouts ever. X3

Hmmm, I would probably go back in time during my cottage life as well as some events at my nana's place. They were the best of my life so far. :)

I would go back to the 1950 World Cup and watch the USA defeat England in the greatest upset in international soccer history.

I would go back to Philadelphia 1776 and watch and listen to the congress debate and vote upon whether to declare independence from Great Britain. were they scared? jubilant? stone cold serious?

I would go back to Elizabethan London and take in a play by Shakespeare's troupe at the Globe Theatre.

yup, those three. maybe.

I wouldn't go back, because if the time machine only goes backwards that means I won't be able to come back to the present time period. Unless after the three times I automatically get zapped back into the future?

Even then, the events I want to go back for are pointless to just watch. I would want to interact with them so it would just be kind of disappointing for me. But if I had to go back, I guess I would go to the 1980's first so I could see some concerts, and then I don't know what I would do from there.

well you can go past as far as going back your not going to Future your going to present as a point of orgin , that also means if its 2016 now u can go to any year before 2016 unless you make the Machine after 2016 , say in year 2033 now point of orgin changes.

Yeah! I thought about the same thing, who was Jack the Ripper?

Apart that, I would probably go watch concerts, just not sure which ones.

would like to go back really far, like when the dinosaurs were alive lmao that'd be really cool. not really any specific event tho..,

uh other than that idk.?? maybe i'd want to go back to see what really happened in some unsolved murder, or get to see some of all the stufff that has been lost throughout the years, like that super big library that burnt a super long time ago? yee

I gave some thought as to what penalty for breaking the 3 time travel law would be here is what i came up with.
You just broke the 3 time travel rule ***FLASH*** Your body is ripped into a billion pieces and is scattered all over the time line
thread, but right before you die your Soul is ripped from your body and tied to a set plane where you are doomed to walk forever,
never finding peace. Or you may just land on a planet made of M&M's why take chance.

thats a bit unfortunate

Wow this a really interesting question! I'd love to see the Great Library of Alexandria that visibleghost mentioned - I've been fascinated by that library and the knowledge it held since I was a young child.

I'd love to see what really started the Great Fire of London.. it wasn't the woman milking her cow which kicked over her lantern (that was made up to sell papers as I understand it). So how did it really start? And how exactly did this particular fire spread so catastrophically?

And for the third, though I'm not trying to raise controversy... I'd go back to the actual historical events that led to Jesus being seen as the the genuine messiah (instead of the many other self-proclaimed sons of god wandering around at that time; prophecy and superstition are powerful motivators lol). I would love to be able to track the many many versions of the stories that came to form the various bibles, and see who made changes along the way, and why. It wouldn't change anything, of course - whatever I saw. But I would like to see the beginning of Christianity (not that it was anything like what is practiced today), and see how it grew even as other religons in the region declined or moved elswewhere. Fascinating stuff!

I would go see the big bang and I'd want to see dinosaurs, and for the 3rd time I'd probably go back to the 50's.
