Time it takes for villager pictures?

I'm currently in the process of collecting my current villagers' pictures, so I'm wondering how long it took everyone else to get a picture with and without trying. For the longest time, I was trying to get O'hare's pic and he just gave me his pic last month and I've had the game for almost 2 years lol. I think the shortest time it took me was around 3 months which was Hazel

How long did it take you guys to get a villager's picture? Also, if anyone has tips on what I can do to speed up the process let me know Thanks!

i feel like it's so random for me. some of them won't stop giving me their pictures and some of them refuse to (FANG!!) the only time i've gotten his picture was from april fool's day. i've had my town for like a year and a half.

It's hard if you don't give them presents. I've found it pretty simple when you want them to have certain items in their house and give them to them especially unorderables or customized furniture. :3

It didn't take very long to get Blanche's picture for some reason, she liked to visit my house and one time when she came over she gave me her picture. I have like 3 of them already lol.

When it was April Fool's Day I got a picture from everyone that was living in my town, but it's not worth it if you have villagers you don't want to lose.

Yeah that's mostly my problem :/ I wooouuld travel back to April Fool's Day but I'm scared for my villagers lol

I actually got most of my pictures fairly quickly. I wrote letters, did errands, and gave gifts a lot, though I did refrain from fish/bug catching errands. One thing that helps is giving them perfect fruit when they ask for fruit. I always do.

The first villager pic I got was Rhonda's after a month or two since I started my town at release. But I played everyday for long hours, which is how I was able to get hers so fast. I was very generous with my villagers when I could play.

I've had the game for 4 months and I still haven't gotten anybody's picture. They always leave me before we get to the best friend stage.

If they randomly visit your house, there's a high chance that they'll send you a picture in the mail the next day also there's a high chance if you give them rare fruit, fish, or bugs.

I got Kitty's picture 3 times when I gave her perfect fruit.
It's a random amount of time. Send letters, do their favors, and always give perfect fruit~ You'll get 'em.

What you can also do is TT back to March 30th, save, then TT forward to April Fool's day. TTing back always counts as 1 day, no matter how many days. This is assuming you don't mind the TTing aspect though,
