TIL (Today I Learned) ...

Today I learned that villager personalities are specified for genders..
Only male can be cranky, lazy, jock and smug and only females can be snooty, normal, peppy and uchi... I had NO idea about this, seriously

I'm probably really slow about this since I've had the game since autumn last year, but I've never thought about it.. I just have my villagers and they move and then I get another one.. I realized it now when I wanted to meet a lazy in the campsite and wondered if there was any lazy female villagers..

Today I learned about perfect town layouts. I've come to hate my town now cause it doesn't have much going for it. OTL

Today I learned that Carmen is the #1 hustler. She said she wouldn't move into my town unless I beat her at rock paper scissors. She won every time, clearing out my inventory, and THEN just agreed to move in without doing anything. It's like she planned it from the beginning. >_>

That you can just exit out of the game if a villager chooses not to move
Oh, and that my sister sucks. Still waiting to pick her up from Stanford. If I have to give up Kyle because of her, I will break her Wacom in half ;^;

I also learned that it's not Sabel that saves patterns, but Mabel.. Nice to get the QR-machine on two characters for something it didn't do
Town layouts are a real pain imo, but fun... I'm no good at it but it looks so good when others are

I learned there was 10 shells in New Leaf. One I have never come across till today, the scallop shell, and I have been playing since July last year....

Today I learned that PWPs even remotely close to the river where you want to build a bridge will interfere.



I had to destroy my bench and a streetlamp to replace this bridge. Because my bench and streetlamp were 'in the way' even though they were there when I had my other bridge type.

Today I learned that nothing is Permanent even if we want it be (I'm gonna miss u Mira) also I learned that watching the empty child at 2am is a bad idea but that's unrelated

I found out that music can't be removed when you have a visitor.
Mayor from my other town wanted to catalog the music. Took along time.

Found that premium Tarantula go for only 16K. Think the price should be higher for a hard to get bug.
8K is low on a regular day.
